Who we are

Simple Addins Ltd is a UK software company focused on building practical, privacy-first tools for professionals who work with complex Word documents.

We started as a couple of UK-based coding enthusiasts building small tools to make our own day-to-day work with Word documents faster and less tedious. The tools turned out to be useful well beyond our own desks, so we decided to share them. Because so much of that work involves sensitive information, keeping everything on your own device — no document upload, no AI reading your content — was the natural starting point rather than an afterthought, and it remains the principle every add-in we publish is built around.

Our products

We currently publish two Microsoft Word add-ins on Microsoft AppSource: Working Document Helper for SEND tribunal document preparation, and Template Helper for automating template document workflows.

Our approach

Every add-in we build runs entirely within Microsoft Word on your own device. We do not upload your documents, we do not use AI to process your content, and we do not store what you write. This is a deliberate design choice — particularly important for professionals handling sensitive information about children and families.
