Where it runs
The main application runs entirely client side, in your version of Word, and no data in the document leaves your computer. This is known as a client-side application.
How it works — Review
Template Helper scans your document for bracketed placeholder fields, presents them in a guided interface, and lets you fill in values interactively. Once complete, it writes the values back into the document safely.
How it works — Save
The Clips feature lets you save selected text as reusable snippets. Tag them for easy searching and insert them into any document with a single click. Export and import clip libraries to share with colleagues.
How it is built
All our tools are built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript and leverage jQuery for interaction with Word documents. If you want more information about how to develop Word add-ins look at Microsoft's Documentation.
